About Us
Built by a practice owner who got tired of the system—and decided to fix it.

Where This Started
About a year ago, I was reviewing reimbursement rates in my own private practice and felt the same frustration a lot of practice owners experience.
We were doing meaningful work, generating real outcomes, and still being paid far less than the value we were providing.
So I did what most people would do—I tried to fix it.
I started looking for someone to negotiate our contracts.
What I Found
Two things became very clear :

First, hiring someone to negotiate contracts is expensive—often out of reach for smaller practices.
Second, even if you can afford it, individual practices don’t have much leverage with insurance companies.
Whether you’re a solo provider or a larger group, you’re still negotiating alone.
And that puts you at a disadvantage.

A Different Approach
That search led me down a path where I discovered a different model—one that allows independent practices to come together while still maintaining control over their own decisions.
Instead of negotiating alone, practices can operate within a structure that creates more leverage, more access, and more opportunity—without giving up autonomy.
That idea became the foundation for Rise.
What We Built
Rise is designed to give independent practices access to something they typically don’t have
Support systems that reduce operational burden
A more structured way to interact with insurance companies
Greater leverage through collective presence
At the same time, every practice maintains full control over their decisions.
Nothing is forced. Everything is optional.

Why This Matters
Independent practices play a critical role in mental health care.
But too often, they are underpaid, overworked, and left to navigate complex systems alone.
That’s not sustainable.
Rise exists to change that.
About the Founder
I’m a practice owner, a business operator, and someone deeply invested in the impact mental health care has on people’s lives.
I’ve experienced the challenges of running a practice firsthand—and I built Rise to create a better path forward.
